    Susan

    Trustee

Susan has a strong personal connection to Gateway Club through a family member with a learning disability who is an active and enthusiastic participant in the club’s activities. Her involvement with the charity began after Gateway’s Advocacy and Support Service provided valuable support to her mother, giving her first-hand experience of the positive impact the organisation has on individuals and families.

Professionally, Susan works within the University Archives, where she brings excellent organisational, administrative, and analytical skills to her role. In 2019, she joined the Gateway Club Board of Trustees and now serves as the charity’s Treasurer, overseeing its financial governance and helping to ensure the organisation remains sustainable and well-positioned for the future.

Susan is passionate about supporting the charity’s mission and is committed to helping Gateway Club continue providing opportunities for people with learning disabilities to build friendships, develop confidence, and enjoy a full and active social life.
